Fallbrook Plumber
A grove parcel where the shutoff is a long walk from the house. An older place near the village still on its original fittings. A water heater that gave out overnight. All Star Plumbing is the Fallbrook plumber for all of it, 60 minutes to the door day or night, and a written price before any work begins.

Honest scope: wells, pumps, septic tanks and irrigation lines are outside what we do. Everything serving the house, the supply, the waste, the hot water, the fixtures and the gas line, is ours.
What makes plumbing different on a grove parcel?
Fallbrook is unincorporated county, spread across roughly seventeen square miles of hill ground and avocado groves. Parcels run large, driveways run long, and the meter is often nowhere near the building it feeds. That matters the day something lets go, because the line from the meter to the house usually sits on the property’s side of the boundary, and on a big lot that is a great deal of pipe to rule out.
The supply is imported and it is hard. Scale settles in the bottom of a water heater tank first and takes years off it, then it works through fixture cartridges, aerators and shower heads. Around two fifths of what the district delivers here goes to agriculture, so a fair amount of pipe on a grove property is carrying irrigation rather than drinking water. When something starts weeping into the dirt, the two get confused.
Sewer covers part of the community and not all of it. A parcel outside the sewer area runs on its own septic system, and that changes what a slow or backing-up drain means. On sewer it is a lateral question. Off sewer the tank and the leach field come into it, and those belong to a septic contractor rather than to us. Either way we start at the house and say plainly where our end of the job stops.

How far out in Fallbrook do you go?
The whole community, both ZIP codes, from the village streets out to the grove roads on the edges. Tell us the cross street and roughly how far the house sits back from the road, because on a long driveway that changes what the tech loads onto the truck.

Our tenant reported a leak, and I wanted it fixed quickly because they're a family with two kids, and I knew living without water would be tough. John came out within an hour and replaced the water heater and brought it up to code. Amazing work, and super professional! Will definitely call again when the need arises.
John and son were awesome!! On time, thorough, respectful, and didn't just solve the problem. They thoroughly cleaned the clogged pipe, explained what caused the problem, and advised how to avoid it in the future. 15/10!! If you can work with these guys, please do.
Caesar and his assistant are excellent, did a great job repairing the piping issue in my 87 y/o father's house.
Do you actually come out this far, or only to the towns closer in?
We cover the whole community, both ZIP codes, and the 60-minute target is the same here as anywhere else we work. Crews run out to the grove roads and the hill roads as a matter of routine, so being at the far end of a long driveway does not change the response.
What does it cost to have someone look at the problem?
$0 for the visit and a visual assessment. If work is needed you get a free written estimate before anything starts, and you can decline it at no cost. A tools-out diagnosis is different: a camera or a pressure test is billable and depends on the job, and it is priced in the estimate before we run it.
My property is on septic rather than sewer. Can you still help?
With everything on the house side, yes: the fixtures, the drains inside, the supply lines, the water heater. The tank and the leach field are a septic contractor’s work rather than ours. If the trouble turns out to sit past the house, we say so plainly instead of working around it.
Is the water here hard, and what does it actually do?
It is hard. The mineral load lands on the water heater first, where scale collects in the bottom of the tank and takes years off the unit, and after that on fixture cartridges, aerators and shower heads. Softening or filtration is the only thing that genuinely slows it down.
The pressure at my house keeps changing. Is that normal?
On hill ground it is common, and a pressure regulator is usually the part involved. When one starts to fail you get hammering in the walls, a relief valve that weeps, or pressure that climbs overnight. It is a small part and a straightforward replacement, and it protects everything downstream of it.
The main shutoff is somewhere out by the road. Should I find it before calling?
If you can reach it safely, yes, and it is worth locating before you ever need it. On a large parcel the main can be a long way from the house, and the minutes spent hunting for it are minutes a burst line keeps running. If you cannot find it, call anyway and close the nearest fixture valve you can get to.
Do you work on the irrigation on a grove?
No. Irrigation and grove lines sit outside what we do, along with wells, pumps and septic systems. Everything that serves the house, supply, waste, hot water, fixtures and gas, is ours, and we will tell you straight away when a problem belongs to somebody else.
