Water running down a wall you cannot see behind? A shower filling up with what came out of the sewer? A tank that split in the garage while everyone was asleep? Sixty minutes to your driveway, whatever the clock says.

Straight about scope: water lines and drains are ours around the clock. Pool equipment, spa gear and yard irrigation are not. Split supply lines, dead heaters, mains backing up and toilets going over the rim, all of that is squarely our work.
The shape of a Laguna Niguel call after dark
Very little here grew by accident. The whole city started as a single 7,100 acre town plan drawn in 1959, then filled in tract by tract until it ran out of room around the turn of the century. Population went from roughly twelve thousand in 1980 to nearly sixty-two thousand by 2000. Streets laid down inside one of those waves carry copper, valves and heaters of the same age, so a failure on one block often reads like a preview of the next.
The water supply is the other half of it. Everything delivered here is piped in from the Colorado River and from up north, and it lands at fifteen to twenty-two grains per gallon, which sits at the very hard end of the scale. That mineral load coats the inside of a tank, welds angle stops shut so they will not turn when you need them to, and grinds away at washers and joints season after season. It almost never picks a convenient moment to finish the job.
Add the slopes. Houses stepped up canyon walls and ridgelines put the meter and the main valve in places nobody thinks to look until water is already moving. So the pattern we answer at 1am runs: a supply line or angle stop letting go, a heater that quit cold, then a main that finally surfaced at the lowest drain in the house. Our dispatch holds a loaded truck close enough to be up Golden Lantern or across on La Paz Road inside the hour, with the parts to finish rather than a promise to return.
No Service Call Fee
Nothing to pay for the visit itself. You get a free written estimate before any work begins, at 2pm or 2am.
Truck Rolls Day or Night
A split line does not wait for Monday. We isolate the run, cap it off, and stop the damage climbing.
Same-Trip Repair
Everyday emergency parts ride with the tech. Most line, heater and valve calls finish before the truck leaves.
Which Laguna Niguel emergencies do you take?
Every emergency call is one of two sentences: water is going somewhere it should not, or water has stopped arriving where it should. We halt the damage before anything else happens, then put a written price on the permanent repair before opening anything up.
Split Line & Major Leak
Tired copper, an angle stop that gave way, a washer hose that let go, a pinhole weeping behind plaster. We isolate the run, cut the failed length out, and join in PEX on the same visit.
- Closed off at the meter or the zone
- Failed length replaced and pressure-tested
- Wall opened only as far as the repair needs
Sewage & Main Line Backup
A toilet that keeps rising, sewage surfacing in a downstairs shower, tubs gurgling in several rooms at once. That reads as the main line rather than one fixture, so we clear it and look at what caused it.
- Cable machine or jetting, matched to the line
- Camera work where the cause is unclear
- Cleanout located and opened
No Hot Water & Heater Failure
Cold showers on a holiday weekend, a puddle spreading under the tank, a tankless unit flashing a fault. We work out what the unit is doing and, where the tank body has gone, put a new one in that day.
- Same-day tank replacement
- Tankless sensor and ignition repair
- Strapping, venting and expansion control to code
Severe Clog & Overflow
A kitchen run packed solid with grease, a main surfacing at the lowest fixture in the house, a tub holding water all evening. We pick the method the pipe can take rather than reaching for one tool every time.
- Method chosen for the line and its age
- Cabling for a single localized blockage
- Jetting for grease and root growth
Main Shutoff & Regulator Failure
A main valve seized open, a regulator stuck and pushing pressure well past what the house was built for, a weeping fitting on the meter side. On a hillside lot these matter more, and we swap them on site.
- Ball valve or pressure regulator replaced
- Static pressure read after the swap
- Meter-side work coordinated where needed
Toilet, Faucet & Fixture Failure
A toilet spilling past a spent wax ring, a faucet that will not shut down, a shower valve jammed on full hot. Ordinary parts ride with the tech, so most of these close out on the first visit.
- Wax rings, fill valves, supply lines
- Cartridges, stems and trim
- Toilet, faucet and angle stop replacement
How a Laguna Niguel emergency gets triaged before the truck arrives.
Most of the money an emergency costs is not spent by the break itself. It is spent in the half hour somebody spends hunting for a valve. So the dispatcher stays on the line and walks you through the opening moves while a tech is already driving.
On site the order never changes: contain it, work out what failed, write the price, then repair. Nothing gets cut or pulled apart until you have read the number.
Get to a valve that works
By phone we point you at whatever is nearest: the stop under a fixture, the inlet on the heater, a hose bib, or the main out front. Two minutes here regularly saves a ceiling.
Cut the power where water has reached it
Water near outlets, a furnace, or a filled ceiling means the breaker goes off before we get there. Where the heater is the source, gas off at the unit, electric off at the panel.
The truck leaves loaded
Angle stops, supply lines, PEX, heater fittings, wax rings, fill valves, cartridges and a drain machine travel with the tech. That is usually the difference between finishing and hunting for a supplier at midnight.
Contain first, then work out the cause
The opening job on arrival is proving the water is genuinely off and the damage has stopped growing. Only then do we pin the exact failed component, which is quick on a split line and slower on a backup.
The written price, before anything else
Nothing is cut, drilled, cabled or swapped until an itemized repair price is in your hands. The visit itself carries a $0 service call. Work starts when you say so.
Repair, test, tidy up
Supply repairs get pressure-tested, drains get run and watched, heater swaps get the relief valve and gas connection checked. Then the area gets cleaned and you get walked through what changed.
Almost everyone waits longer than they should.
A leak that has become impossible to ignore has usually been running quietly for a while. When somebody hesitates before picking up the phone, it is nearly always one of these six reasons.
Here is our honest answer to each.
It is the middle of the night.
The phones are staffed all night. There is no hour that gets a worse answer. A 3am call is handled the way a 3pm call is.
Maybe this is not bad enough to call about.
If water is travelling where it should not, it is worth a call. We will tell you plainly what has to happen tonight and what can safely hold until morning.
I have no idea where it is coming from.
That is fine, and it is not your job. Finding it is the first thing the tech does. Nothing needs pulling apart before we get there.
I am worried what this will cost.
The service call is $0 and the written estimate arrives before any work. Nothing proceeds without your say so, whatever the hour.
I called someone already and nobody could come.
We can. Sixty minutes across Laguna Niguel, any night of the year, holidays included.
It might settle down by itself.
A split line or a rising drain does not settle down, and every hour it runs adds to the bill at the other end. One phone call tells you which of those you have.

Had an emergency and John was very responsive and fixed the problem.
Our tenant reported a leak, and I wanted it fixed quickly because they're a family with two kids, and I knew living without water would be tough. John came out within an hour and replaced the water heater and brought it up to code. Amazing work, and super professional! Will definitely call again when the need arises.
Anthony and his partner came out the same day and fixed a huge water leak that was super involved. The water department was out earlier that day, and another plumber, and neither one of them had a clue what was going on. Anthony found the problem straight away, fixed it that same day and just basically stopped a bad leak immediately that was snowballing into a nightmare of a situation. I would have had floor damage, cabinets.. bills upon bills. And stress. But all was avoided thanks to this amazing team of incredibly intelligent, caring and hard working plumbers. I wish I could give 10 stars.
What does an emergency call in Laguna Niguel run to?
The honest answer is that no website can quote one. A call at midnight might be a ten minute valve swap or a heater replacement with code work attached. What we can do is set out what actually drives the number, so the written estimate reads as sensible when the tech hands it over. Coming out and looking at it carries a $0 service call.
What moves an emergency call up or down
Which component gave way
A spent angle stop or a burst washer hose sits at the light end. A failed length of copper inside a wall costs more. A dead heater more again. The first few minutes on site place you on that range.
The hour it happens
Night and holiday work can carry a different labor rate. Whatever applies to your call is itemized on the written estimate before you approve it, never added quietly at the end.
How hard it is to reach
A valve in an open garage is quick. A pinhole above a finished ceiling takes longer, because the ceiling comes open, the length gets replaced, and the patching is written into the quote.
Whether the part is on board
The truck carries the common ones. Now and then something unusual, an odd heater size for instance, needs a daytime collection. That moves the schedule rather than the labor.
Our lot drops away behind the house. If the line that failed is under the deck, how do you get at it?
Carefully, and after a look rather than a guess. On a stepped lot the run can sit under decking, behind a retaining wall, or below the level of the house itself, so the tech works out the access route before quoting. The written estimate covers whatever getting to it involves.
The break is sending water downhill onto the property below us. Does that change what you do first?
It moves the shutoff up the order. Stopping the flow matters more than finding the exact cause once water is crossing a boundary, so the tech isolates it on arrival and diagnoses after. Tell the dispatcher it is running off the lot, because it changes how the call is prioritised.
We are behind a gate and the guard will not pass anyone through at night without a name.
Give the dispatcher the gate name and whatever the guard needs when you ring, and it goes to the tech before the truck leaves. It is worth the two minutes on the phone, because a sixty minute response means nothing if the truck is sat at a gate.
The copper on our street all went in the same year. If one house gets a pinhole, are the rest coming?
Often, over time. Pipe laid in one build wave ages on one clock, so neighbours seeing the same failure is a pattern rather than bad luck. One pinhole is a repair. A run of them on the same line is where a PEX repipe usually costs less than the repeat visits.
Does the hard water actually cause a burst, or does it just wear things out slowly?
Mostly the second, until it is the first. Minerals fur up valve seats and weld angle stops so they will not turn, and they grind at washers and joints season after season. Nothing fails on the day it starts. It fails on the night you need the stop to close.
What should we be doing in the hour before the truck arrives?
Shut the water off if you can reach a valve that turns, cut power to anything the water has reached, and move what you can lift. Do not force a seized valve. Beyond that, leave it. Photographs taken before anything is moved are worth having.
Can you just stop it tonight and come back in daylight to do the work?
Yes, and sometimes that is the sensible call. Making the house safe and isolating the failure is one job, the repair is another, and they do not have to happen in the same visit. You get the written estimate either way before any work starts.
We rent the house. Should the landlord be calling instead of us?
Ring us anyway if water is moving. Stopping it is the urgent part and it is in nobody’s interest to wait on a phone call. We make it safe, then the estimate goes to whoever is authorising the repair, usually the owner or the management company.
